23rd November 2008 Capital Punishment, London
Our final event of year will include 2 world title fights plus a full supporting fight card, from c class to a class. Topping the bill will be Cedric Muller of France defending his World Title at 70kg against Michael Wakeling of the Scorpions Gym, UK. Also competing will be Bernice Alldiss of Keddles Gym, UK competing for the vacant World Title at 57kg against Mikaela Melante of Sweden.

15th November 2008 UK Amateur MMA League - Stage 2, Nottingham
The Lumpini gym will be sending another team to this event including the first League sponsored fighter Dan Hope. We hope to continue our unbeaten status in the league and keep topping those tables. Any fighters interested please speak to Sean and Trevor.
8th November 2008 Jersey Thai Boxing
A team of Lumpini Thai fighters will be heading to Jersey to compete under professional rules.

Club Social Night, Southampton and 'Farewell to Michael Carroll'
Thai dinner followed by a night out in Southampton's finest bars and clubs. If you helped at our last Capital Punishment event - Lumpini Thai Boxing will cover the cost of your meal as a thank-you. Partners also welcome. Also, Michael Carroll will be leaving us at the end of August, to pursue a new job in Manchester, so this will double up as Michaels leaving party!!

Competing for a place in the England team under Amateur FTR, Lumpini fighters took 2 wins and 1 loss. Ken Jones and Rachel Clark won their bouts and Sonny Mordin lost on points. Well done to all for some great first FTR performances.

20th July 2008 MMA Amateur League - Stage 1, Birmingham
Well done to Dan Hope, Michael Carroll, Dave Mackenzie-Phillips and Nick Kazakos for their outstanding performances. 9 fights in total, with 7 wins and 2 draws an excellent start to the league. The lads have now had a total of 20 fights - still undefeated!!
